Baby trees

This week we went down marshland road and planted some baby trees, with the help of the city council we planted just shy of 600 trees. Me and my buddy planted 14 trees and we had a blast for the few hours we were there. The city council was kind enough to throw us a sausage sizzle. Over all we had a great time and would love to do it again.

This term we are making a debate and i'm doing it about becoming a cash less society

Why should we become a cashless society and move to electronic cash
Fast company Yellow
Pros                Cons

In “The Curse of Cash”, published on
August 16th, Kenneth Rogoff makes the
case for gradually getting rid of most
paper currency.
It certainly has benefits, he admits,
but these are outweighed
by the costs associated with its
murky side.
The same virtue that provides the
ability to pay for a self-indulgent treat or a
naughty service without its appearing on bank
records or credit-card
statements also allows criminals to fund their
activities and tax-dodgers to
avoid levies.

Let’s say your house get’s set on fire with a
jar of 13,00 dollars in it and you
don’t have insurance.
That is unlikely.
According to Mr Rogoff, the bulk of the
rich world’s currency supply is used to
facilitate tax evasion and illegal activities
such as human trafficking and
financing terrorism
The record $1.4 trillion
circulating outside
of banks in dollars alone,
mostly in high-denomination
bills, might suggest that
every four-person American family
has $13,600 in $100 bills
stashed in a jam jar
That is unlikely. According to Mr Rogoff,
the bulk of the rich world’s currency
supply is used to facilitate tax evasion
and illegal activities such as human
trafficking and financing terrorism
Your bank can track your money and
no exactly how much you have and it
would stop people from committing
crime that is listed above

And as shopkeepers and businesses
in relatively cash-light countries such
as Sweden are discovering, there are
other real benefits to preferring
electronic payments over cash, including
security, lower costs, hygiene
and convenience, for both business
and customer.

Cell phones in the class room

My reflection on are debate on weather cell phones in the class room.I wasn't there for the speaking but I was there for gathering of information.

A few things that went well where all the good strong points we had on are topic and convincing points to sway the other team.We could of done better on communication and setting up with how we find are information.

I believe that we should have cell phones in the classroom but there should be some rules.I believe this because there are some good apps that can make learning fun, easy and hands on.

Frozen adventure

My class made restricted story, with two to three similes and metaphor.

Leaving the base, I only see snow and the sun for miles.I wonder to myself, and think how could people
go out and find anything. I only got a few things to do told by advisers to go to a mountain and the ocean.
The snow is like massive mirror.I go to the snowmobile and start the adventure.

I thought about where I will go first. I finally decided to go to the edge of the ice sheet . To my surprise I
saw lots of things. There are waterfalls like hydro slide and Sea lions in the ocean, and polar bears of to
a new home. The sea lions are like real lions. I was fortune it enough to see a sea lion attack fish then rip
it to shreds.

I move on to the mountains. I thought the mountains were shards of glass.once I get to the top the sight
became all mine to take in.I look back at the edge of the ice, and I see a whale jump out of the ocean for
a breath of air.Birds were planes and the ground and ocean was the runway.
The mountain is Neptune.

I leave the arctic with so much stories to tell my adviser, and so much for me to tell my family.

This was a trip of a lifetime and I could not thank my adviser enough.I would definitely go back to this
desert of snow that I love.

dialog

“Where are we going to go” asked jay to Chris.

“I was thinking to Jupiter, so we can get more stupider” Chris said  with a smirk on his face.

“Don’t be silly Chris, plus if we could we don’t have a spaceship, so no” giggling jay as he also typed in
the fight company website name into the computer.

“Look!, Italy for 800 dollars a person and for an extra 200 dollars we can upgrade to business” said Chris.

“Or we could go to pairs for a 1000 dollars”said jay.

“ but I want to go ITALY! We we” mooned Chris.

“Well I want to go to pairs” jay acting with more superiority.

“Rock, paper, scissor me then”said Chris realising that he’s terrible at rock, paper scissor
“All right”said jay with so much confidence.

brain storm

hello bloggers heirs a character brain storm, hope you enjoy

progeny

hello readers for literary we had to use a interesting word in a sentence. My word was progeny here some differentiation
Word:progeny
Location in text: page 38 paragraph 1
Sentence in text:By one of those caprices of the mind which we are perhaps most subject to in early you
, I at once gave up my former occupations, set down natural history and all its progeny as a deformed
and abortive creation, and entertained the greatest disdain for a would-be science which could never
even step within the threshold of real knowledge.
What I think it means:a descendant or the descendants of a person, animal, or plant; offspring.
What it means in context:a descendant or the descendants of a person, animal, or plant; offspring.

My great grandma is my progeny of me.
leave a comment on interesting words you have put in a sentence.
